When I was in college, my accounting professor used to yell, “belts and suspenders!”

He was telling us to always double-check your work. In school, a mistake meant a bad grade. After graduating, the same mistake could cost us our job — and cost our clients millions of dollars.

At Run The Day, we believe in the “belts and suspenders” mindset.

Being prepared with a backup plan might look a little silly. But we’d rather look goofy in belts and suspenders than get caught with our pants down.
