Promotion vs. paperwork

Everyone who has organized a race knows the two competing voices:

  • "More registrations! We need to grow!"

  • "Hundreds of people are counting on me I need permits, vendors and a site map that actually makes sense!"

Both voices are relentless. And both are right.

The event doesn't happen without people signing up — but it also doesn't happen without the permits, the vendors, and a logistics plan that makes race day go smoothly.

So how do you balance both?

There is no magic answer — I haven’t yet figured out a way to clone you. Nor have I come up with a way to give you 25 hours in your day.

So at Run The Day, we strive to do the next best thing — take things off your plate.

That way, you can spend less time on promotion and paperwork and more time organizing a race that brings your community together.
