Organization
“How do you do it all, Jamie?”
I was driving back from last weekend’s Guts & Glory 5K, listening to a podcast with Jamie Dimon, the Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase.
“I’m very organized,” Jamie replied. “And it’s not just me — my office and my family are all organized too.”
It was an interesting answer. So often we hear that success comes from brilliant insight or a relentless work ethic — and sure, those help.
But the fact that Jamie led with organization was interesting to me.
And he’s not the only one. Bill Gates wrote about the importance of getting organized when he was starting Microsoft, in his book Source Code.
At Run The Day, we use the word “organize” a lot. And not just because we help you organize races.
I am a big believer that being organized is a superpower.

New Digital Front Doors: Eating My Own Dog Food
Last week I wrote about the new digital front doors that are helping races grow. As you know, I like to eat my own dog food.
So this week, we walked the talk — and launched a brand-new the Run The Day website.
